Wireless setup
The wireless adapter can connect to wireless networks in the vicinity of the DINGO device.
Clicking the Scan button will show a list in the data-grid of wireless networks in the DINGO device vicinity.
Selecting a network in the data-grid and clicking Edit network… will show a new window with the network details.
Network name: This is the name of the network. It is also called SSID.
Connect automatically: Determines if the DINGO device should automatically connect to the network when it is within range.
Password: The password used when connecting to the wireless network. It is also called WPA-PSK key, Network key, Network security key or Wireless key.
Connect priority: The DINGO device can be set up to connect automatically to many wireless networks. When two or more are in range the one with the highest priority is chosen.
If there is a special need to connect to a specific wireless network and configure it with a static IP, then select the network in the data-grid and click Modify...

This option will disable wireless roaming, which means it will only try to connect to the network in this configuration.

The modem setup can also be configured with the dingo-config tool.
- sudo dingo-config

Choose 3 Network setup.

Choose 1 Set Internet interface.

Use the arrow keys to navigate to Wireless and use the spacebar to enable the item. Then choose Ok to save the changes.

Then choose 2 Configure wireless setup to configure access to wireless networks in the vicinity.

Choose Wireless static IP if there is a need to set a static IP on the wireless connection.
- Then reboot the DINGO device.
